Massachusetts Go Association (MGA) is proud to present a series of Group Lessons with Mr Huiren Yang. Mr Yang is a 1 Dan Professional player from China, and one of the top Players residing in the US. Mr Yang has previously represented the US in International Tournaments. He gave a single day workshop at the MGA last year which was a wonderful success and enjoyed by all.

The kyu section will often contain a topical lecture, or some prepared problems and positions for discussion. The Dan section typically involves the review of one or more games played by the atending dan players. All players are encouraged to bring games or positions or topics that they wish to ask Mr Yang about.

Mr Yang's availability has changed and he is unable to give lessons in April and May. Lessons will resume in June if his schedule permits.

You are signed up ONLY if your funds have been recieved. You may also send or hand a check directly to Gus. If you pay by credit card and the section is full a refund will be issued (our web site has no way to know if someone handed us a check a couple hours earlier!) If the add to cart button is not available the section is full, canceled or completed.

Kyu Sit-in Policy

If the Dan player section is not full, then Kyu players who have attended the Kyu session may join the Dan player section under the following conditions

• $20 is paid in cash to the organizer at the start of the Dan lesson
• Preference will be given to higher ranked Kyu players if there are not enough spaces available.
• Players who did not sign up and did not attend the Kyu section are only admitted if there is space after all Kyu lesson attendees have been accommodated

The Dan study section is for serious analysis. Regardless of rank please try to keep questions targeted to the groups maximum benefit.
